Peeler Ranch is not normal. It is an unconventional, regenerative, progressive, conservation-oriented, net-carbon-sequestering, fossil-fuel averse and synergistic ranching business focussed on health.., healthy ecosystems, healthy people, and healthy business. It is owned and operated by Julie and Justin Peeler.
Having inherited a family ranching history from both our families and around 2,000 acres in South Texas, we have built our ranching life and business to now span over 137 years of family ownership, six generations, four states (Texas, Colorado, Arkansas and Kansas), and over 108,000 acres of which 93,600 deeded acres are solely owned by Julie and Justin with holistically managed natural resources including the sun, plants, grazing livestock, people, timber, wind, water, oil & gas, farming and wildlife operations. We know we belong to the land.
Peeler Ranch is home to Julie and Justin's historic Graves Peeler Texas Longhorn foundation herd which we passionately continue to grow.
Passionate, honest, unselfish people make our abnormal, unconventional ranching model happen through rewarding effort. Traditions and heritage are important, but we remain focussed on today and the future allowing us freedom to continually change to Nature’s image. Our family and co-workers are very important, so are communities where we ranch. Together, we create good jobs and boost local commerce. We are a family owned ranch. We believe strong, American family values build a stronger ranch community and regional community. This makes Peeler Ranch a healthy, better, happier place to live. We will continue our land stewardship efforts to optimally utilize and regenerate our natural resources yet leave the lands for the next DESERVING generation(s) in better condition than when we became stewards of the land.
